Our thriving, family owned and operated, optometry private practice is looking for a front desk employee who can perform duties involved with coordinating patient and physician schedules as well as file management, office organization and cleanliness. All the while maintaining an outwardly positive and bubbly disposition.
Duties will include, but not limited to: Answer multi-line phones and handle the caller’s needs, Pleasantly greet patients upon arrival, sign them in and obtain necessary data. Process payments from patients, schedule appointments for new and recurring patients, maintain patient records stored in our EHR, call, text or email patients to remind them of upcoming appointments, provide patients with support and guidance, cleaning duties will include but not limited to keeping your work area clean, sweeping, mopping, dusting, wipe down counter tops, etc.
We’re looking for a professional with a high school diploma, pleasant personality, excellent verbal communication skills, ability to multitask, manage stress and perform duties in a timely and effective matter. Ideal candidate is one who believes that patients should be treated as people rather than numbers in a file, and one who understands the value of compassionate service.
